Diversionary Theater
Gio as Roger in Rent at the Diversionary Theater in San Diego. Sold out run, extended twice, and Co-Directed by Coleman Ray Clark and Sherri Eden Barber - this production was electric. The team was dedicated to highlighting trans voices, so Gio was able to draw from his experience as a trans man and infuse it into the character.

Breaking the Binary Theatre
Gio played on of the Gangsters in this historic, all trans concert production of The Drowsy Chaperone. Directed by Tony Nominee L Morgan Lee, Music Supervised by Broadway’s Anessa Marie Scolpini, and produced by Breaking the Binary Theatre, this was truly a legendary night for trans theatre makers and the trans community as a whole. What a gift to be able to get up on the Carnegie Hall stage and be absolutely ridiculous for a couple of hours. Read more about the show below!
